SOMA • RASA • YAGNA: A Journey Trilogy

SOMA: A word for body, in its wholeness. What I mean by soma is the totality of the body, including flesh and tissue, phenomenological sensing, energetic attunement, movement, proprioception, cellular intelligence, the bioelectric field; it means the wisdom-body of reality that you’re a cell of.

—————

RASA: A word for essence, taste, scent, nectar — a rasika is a connoisseur, and we’re here as connoisseurs of the many flavors of Existence. There are many different families of Existence-flavors, and we have many names for each family. Broadly speaking, we’ll be taking a journey through things we might call: energetic qualities, realms, vibes, ways of being, modes of attention, gods, vows, textures of experience, imaginal sensations, subtle phenomenologies, etc. I’ll take you on a trip to some of my favorite rasas and we’ll watch the journey evolve from there.

—————

YAGNA: A type of fire offering. Here, we approach with the breadth and acuity of presence we practiced in SOMA and RASA, and sacrifice everything in awareness to the flame of present-moment reality. Over and over again, we practice letting go, dropping away, sacrificing and sacralizing each part of experience. Over and over again, we practice noticing just how much we’re still holding onto.

In the format of “Journeys”, I’m stepping out of any sort of role as a teacher or instructor, any role where you’re coming to me for instructions or a “right way” to do anything — and into a role that I’m coming to think of as a Journey Artist. I’m simply here to go into territories that fascinate me, to bring some artistry and craft to the way I invite you to explore with me — and to hopefully introduce you to some aspects of experience that you’ll resonate with and want to spend more time in.

I’m currently ill and in a difficult time zone, but I’ll schedule these journeys when I have a bit more stability. Sign up below for updates.
