I’m River

I care about nudging the world-soul towards more interesting, luminous, wholesome possibilities. In my experience, patient, insistent, multidimensional nudging does a lot of work that more linear approaches can’t.

Lately, my interests have been in Sensing Reality and Awakening Money. If you’re interested in either

  • attuning to usually-ignored sensory aspects of human experience, or

  • bringing money out of its narcissistic, adolescent slumber, and into its place as a caring, mature citizen of the world

— then get in touch.

Specifically, you can approach me for Latent Insight work, to uncover what’s obvious-but-hidden in your experience; and you can approach me about Radagast Capital if you’re interested in attuning to what awakened money wants.

Harmonizing Bodies

Helping more people become sensitive and open to their bodily experience is, for my money, just about the highest-leverage move for opening up more interesting possibilities in the world. If someone doesn’t have a felt relationship with their body, very little else is possible. '

The maturity, depth, uprightness, aliveness, and connection that the world is asking for — none of those can happen in bodies that are numb, clenched, dissociated.

A course I built, teaching soulful embodiment while encouraging participants’ own sovereignty (rather than inviting them to hand their authority over to me or the material).

Harmonizing Other Bodies

Years of running workshops and 1:1 work with very positive feedback — especially from people who hadn’t been able to get into embodiment via other routes.

Public Resonance

I spoke on podcasts about somatic unfolding, and its role in things like aliveness, intuition, and going deeper than surface-level spirituality.

My presentation at The Stoa raised the necessity of somatic work for going deeper into sensing & navigating Reality

I loved the somatic period of my work, and I’m keeping the course up and available for anyone else it might help — but I don’t tend to do embodiment-focused work anymore. The personal work I do now folds somatic resonance into a deeper context.

Support the Work

You may notice that some parts of my vocation pay me directly, and others don’t. If you feel a sense of care and stewardship for work like this, I’d ask that you not wait for an excuse to support it — I accept non-linear payment and gifts from sources that feel aligned with what I’m doing.

Call it patronage, call it gifts, call it back pay for ways my work has already touched you — I’m a big believer in supporting things I believe the world-soul wants to happen, and I hope you are too.

Give a Gift

A give-what-you-want gift link, if my work has helped you and you’d like to give back.

I also invite generosity to the Renga Fund, which you can learn more about by clicking the link.

Interviews & Talks

I’ve been on some podcasts, given some presentations, had some conversations; here’s where you can get a sense of where I’ve been (though honestly, most of these are from a very different stage of my work)
